La Spettroscopia di Immagine Iperspettrale. L'importanza di tecniche analitiche di immagine per lo studio non invasivo di dipinti

Academic Article
Publication Date:
2023
abstract:
In recent years, the hyperspectral imaging technique has become common in the study of artworks. The ability to cover large areas of the artwork allows different materials to be mapped. The hyperspectral imaging technique is also able to provide images that replace traditional ones, such as photographic IR, false color IR, IR reflectography, etc., thus being able to contribute to the documentary part of the works studied. The potential of this technique was partly exemplified in the case presented, an oil painting signed Manet, in which the data obtained were extremely useful to support its study.
