Influence of residual solvent on the gas transport properties of dense Hyflon® AD 60x gas separation membranes

The solvent retention by dense Hyflon AD 60X membranes were studied. The effect of the residual solvent on the transport properties of the membranes was evaluated. The permeability, diffusion coefficient and solubility of six permanent gases in membranes prepared under different conditions were determined and compared with the results of simulation studies.
