Application of the RTTOV model to the BOLAM and MOLOCH output

The RTTOV radiation model, developed in the international project HSAF, have been applied to the MOLOCH and BOLAM model outputs in order to set up a postprocessing package that produces earth outgoing radiation fields that simulate pseudo satellite radiance and brightness temperature fields. This allows a direct inter-comparison between observed and simulated cloud distributions.
