abstract:
An updated (at 2006) version of the MOLOCH non hydrostatic meteorological model has been set up and distributed to different users. This updated version contains several upgrades and improvements in various dynamical and physical aspects (parallelization based on MPI; microphysical scheme, soil models; definition of orography, soil and vegetation; turbulence parameterization schemes in two and three dimensions; radiation). Moreover a two dimensional version of the MOLOCH model (MOLON) has been set up.
