Crisi scienza-scietà. Strategie europee per una governance della complessità

In my presentation, I will describe recent approaches reframing the role of science in democratic societies increasingly pervaded by innovative processes that, in addition to bringing benefits, often involve risks, raise ethical dilemmas and controversial problems. In doing this, I will follow the evolution of European strategies in research funding as a useful track to understand the impact on research practices and on the roles requested to scientists in this scenario.
