Health and Ageing

The health of the elderly is one of the central issues of today's society. The increase in life expectancy and the ageing of the population raises questions of both health and social concern. The present work has as its object the healt of the elderly. The concept of health in analized here according to a holistic approach. Biological, physiological and social aspects contribute, in fact, to define the state of well-being of people. It therefore adresses the issue of healt and disase in a new scientific approach thet links and context, but also care and prevention. The contribution asks, on the basis of the study of Pnei, wich are the best strategies to fight sideases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Amyotrophic lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and more generally, how to age better.
