NIR absorbing biopolymer nanoparticles as potential tools for photothermal applications

Biopolymer nanoparticles loaded with the NIR-absorbing dye Indocyanine Green are fabricated and characterized. Here we present our recent work on the development, biocompatibility and stability of the most promising formulations for laser-assisted biomedical applications.
