VISAVES - Vineyard SuitAbility and Variability Evaluation System

VISAVES is a software, based on the Geographic Information Systems technology , which allows integration of data and information from different sources: cartographic, agronomic, remote sensing, modeling, etc. Within the system have been implemented methodologies, indices and models, developed over more than fifteen years of activity in the environmental, agro-meteorological and wine. VISAVES is proposed as a support tool, able to organize data and knowledge even of complex production companies, who intend to travel the road of innovation and development. The software allows a more careful and sustainable management of the vineyard, through the description of the internal variability and evaluating the impact of interventions and processes on the production and quality of grapes. For its use is currently required a careful adaptation to the characteristics of the production company, but this activity can be conducted in close contact with the experts who contributed to its realization.
