abstract:
A marginal character in the chronicles of the Neapolitan Renaissance, Beatrice of Aragon deserves perhaps some more attention, considering her role in the European monarchic panorama between the 15th and 16th Centuries. The aim of this article is not to trace a biography of Beatrice of Aragon, but to draw attention to her profile as a woman of power between two kingdoms and to enhance her action in international politics, also focusing on the education she received and the authority of her family of origin.
