Recenti applicazioni del microfascio X del laboratorio LANDIS/INFN nel settore dei beni archeologici

In this work we discuss some possible applications of the X-ray microbeam spectrometer of LNS/INFN LANDIS laboratory in Catania. Examples where the use of small dimension X-ray beam is necessary for the analysis of archaeological samples are presented. Particular attention is paid to those applications where, besides the XRF analysis, mineralogical studies are necessary in order to obtain information about the artefact and the materials employed for its fabrication.
