Studio sull astabiltà di vernici naturali e sintetiche mediante tecniche colorimetriche e spettroscopiche

abstract:
This work deals with the characterization of natural and synthetic resins used as varnish (dammar, ketonic, acrylic, halifatic and urea-aldehydic resins). The analyzed materials were applied on pictorial models and they were subjected to artificial ageing by irradiation with discharge lamp. Non invasive optic and spectroscopic techniques were used to spectrally * v.marchiafava@ifac.cnr.it characterize the samples and to monitor their behaviour during the ageing. The applied techniques, covering the UV-Vis-NIR spectral range, were colorimetry and fiber optic reflectance spectroscopy (FORS).
