Combining oxime-based [Mn6] clusters with cyanometalates: 1D chains of [Mn6] SMMs from [M(CN)2]^- (M = Au, Ag)

The linear [M(CN)] (M = Au, Ag) anions can be used as metalloligands in oxime-based Mn chemistry to afford 1D chains of [Mn ] single-molecule magnets (SMMs). © 2014 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
