PATENT PORTFOLIO 2022 - Il contributo DSB

Protecting the results of Research is one of the cornerstones for the enhancement of the CNR's activities, on which to build relationships and collaborations with the business system, in support of competitiveness and innovation. Within the framework of the provisions of the Statutes and Regulations of the CNR, the Organization supports the protection and enhancement of intellectual property on research results by providing a central service structure, the Research Enhancement Unit (UVR), which operates in close collaboration / synergy with the Departments and Institutes. During the last five years, among the more than 260 new invention disclosures submitted by the scientific community of the CNR to the Research Enhancement Unit for the purpose of evaluating the opportunities for protection, 65 have been proposed by research staff belonging to the Institutes of the Department of Biomedical Sciences, which has in its portoflio, on June 30 2022, 67 Intellectual Properties Rights, equal to the 22% of the whole CNR IPR portfolio. This Publications contains the technological brochures, in italian and english , of all the patented technologies belonging to the Department of Biomedical Sciences not yet placed on the market, which through this publication could be promoted to encourage technology transfer.
