abstract:
The proposed project is focused on developments and exploitation of electric and magnetic probes in the COMPASS
tokamak. The main aim is better understanding of phenomena, which take place at the edge of tokamak plasmas, such as
turbulent transport in the scrape of layer, features in the pedestal region, edge localized modes e.t.c. Probe measurements are
compared with others non-invasive diagnostics available on the COMPASS tokamak. The research is performed in a broad
international collaboration, which is either already established or newly established during execution of this project.
