abstract:
A research on Aggregata sp. infection in
Sepia officinalis and the influence of parasitosis
on biometrics was carried out. Parasites
were found in the 100% of samples
(gills 96.7%, caeca 90%, intestina 43.3%).
The frequency and gravity of infection were
not related to mantel length, weight and
thickness. Finally, potential implications of
infection on cephalopods quality were discussed
