Guest Editorial: 26th IEEE symposium on computers and communications (ISCC 2021) selected papers

This Special Issue of Computer Networks considers the emerging topics in the field of computers in communications systems by covering research topics ranging from serverless computing to peer-to-peer wireless power transfer to real-time processing and data sharing. This special issue invited a selection of conference papers published in the 26th IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications (ISCC 2021) conference. The invited submissions demonstrated significant extension and contributions compared to the conference paper. The submitted manuscripts followed a regular review process, as indicated by the Computer Networks, Elsevier. The special issue welcomed submissions of methodological, experimental, technical and application papers, and papers on experiences in computer network settings
