La politica tipografica della Compagnia di Gesù: una rete transnazionale di committenza e distribuzione?

The paper reflects on the typographic strategy of the Society of Jesus, starting from the text of the booklet entitled Informatione d'un modo facile d'arrichir senza spesa d'ogni sorte di libri tutte le librarie della Compagnia (1619). After analyzing published and unpublished sources which testify the activities of Jesuits printing houses and their relationships with other printers, the author proposes the creation of Monumenta typographica Societatis Iesu, a collection of sources that will allow to understand how the Society operated within all the levels of the early modern book market.
