The effect of inoculum carriers (wheat straw, corn cobs and commercial pellet) on P.ostreatus growth and IPA degradation ability was studied utilizing a creosote contaminated soil and creosote-treated shavings. Results showed a good IPA degradation ability both in soil and in shavings. The best results were obtained utilizing commercial pellet as carrier.
