The keynote deal with: - Light, a very versatile tool in the frame of research dealing with the development of new drug delivery systems -Two examples of photoactivable polymeric nanoparticle systems for antitumorals delivery - Ethionamide, a second-line drug in tuberculosis treatment, facing serious solubility problems tackled with new cyclodextrin-based carrier systems - Boosting Ethionamide activity with the help of a polymeric cyclodextrin-based delivery system - Clofazimine, an old drug to treat leprosy, soluble only in lipophilic environments Fluorescent silica particles for Clofazimine encapsulation Clofazimine loading with polymeric sulfobutylether-cyclodextrins and in vitro antibacterial activity
