Nutritive value of bilberry pomace for the growing rabbit: préliminary results of digestion and growth. The nutritive value and potential use of Bilberry pomace for the growing rabbit was studied by comparing 4 diets containing an increasing incorporation of MM (0, 5, 10 and 15%). 144 rabbits (weaned at 35 days old) were divided into four groups of 36 and fed ad libitum. The digestibility was measured between 46 and 50 days of age of 10 rabbits per group. The MM can be considered as a major source of fibers (626 g/kg NDF) and proteins (142 g/kg).
