the category of «victims of duty» is currently regulated by a very inhomogenous regulatory framework. The article examines the regulatory discipline, highlighting, with widespread jurisprudential references, the «transformation» of the condition of victim of duty from mere legitimate interest to a subjective right, of a welfare nature, imprescriptible, unavailable and inalienable, related to a status activae civitatis.
