The article introduces the possible developments of the impact assessment regarding safety policies (called "Bandi ISI"). The procedures related to the "Bandi ISI" present some characteristics that appear to allow the possibility of conducting a complete and interesting evaluation exercise. Therefore, defining the possible evaluation questions, the article traces the direction for further research and application of the counterfactual method to the evaluation of the effectiveness of the security incentives.
