Teachers' professional learning and competence in the digital era: the DigCompEdu framework

abstract:
The contribution highlights the importance of self-evaluation process of teachers' digital competence, outlining both the theoretical framework of reference and the methodological implications for practical implementation. A second important aspect discussed in this contribution is the multitude of complementary abilities teachers need to acquire for effectively integrating digital technologies in their teaching practices, combining the use digital tool with critical and analytical skills, so as to trigger a continuous reflection on teaching methods.
