Active wavefront control in Hilase multislab high-average-power laser system

abstract:
We present an adaptive optics system for active wavefront correction of the first stage amplifier of a multi-slab laser system capable of generating 100 W of average output power and transverse dimensions of 20 mm x 20 mm. The results of this experiment are compared with numerical simulations. © 2014 SPIE.
