abstract:
A novel diffractive optical element is designed, fabricated and tested exhibiting unprecedented levels of miniaturization, integration and resolution in orbital angular momentum mode demultiplexing. The device has been fabricated with high-resolution electron-beam lithography and characterized for OAM-beams both in free-space and optical fibers.
