RemUSINE: A bridge between empirical and model-based evaluation when evaluators and users are distant
Academic Article
Publication Date:
2000
abstract:
There are few computer-aided approaches that provide a model-based usability evaluation using empirical data. A solution that allows designers to remotely evaluate the usability of interactive software applications with the support of automatic tools, empirical data, and the task model of the application is proposed. The method shows that the time required by the user to perform tasks do not distinguish between time spent by the system and that spent by the user either in internal cognitive activities or in interacting with applications.
