Academic Article
Publication Date:
2023
abstract:
The paper briefly attempts to shed light on the geomorphological factors that may have contributed to the landslide's occurrence, e.g., erosion processes from sea waves and geological features of the area. Hence, a careful geomorphological investigation was carried out to determine the extent of the instability events and assess the failure's nature and causes. So, the main scope of this article is to emphasise the need to comprehend the factors that triggered the landslides to take preventative action against future occurrences to preserve the existence of the icon of the city and Calabria in the world.
