Un mosaico seicentesco dai depositi del museo civico medievale di Bologna

A stylistic, iconographic, technical and archaeometric study was carried out on a small portable mosaic in the center representing a male figure sitting at the foot of a tree between two young women, of unknown origin and preserved in the deposits of the Medieval Civic Museum. The multidisciplinary study has made it possible to safely attribute the execution of the mosaic in the Roman context to the early seventeenth century.
