Una base di dati per la diagnostica endocrina

A Database System for Diagnostics in Endocrinology. Without doubt, one of the most interesting and useful contributions of computer science to the other scientific disciplines in recent years has been the design and development of data base systems capable of managing enormous quantities of information. The paper describes a system which has been designed to store and manage archives of endocrinological case histories. A first attempt to analyze the available data in order to study certain sectors of human pathology such as obesity, menopause, benign breast disease and prolactin microadenoma is described.
