Dati preliminari sulle comunità ornitiche di alcuni querceti del Lazio

The IPA method has been used to undertake a census of the bird communities in five long-trunked oak-woods situated in Central Italy. These woods are characterized by different structure of vegetation and distributed with an altimetric gradient (30-850 m). The structure of vegetation seems to be the main factor that influences the abundance of communities.
