Santa Maria della Rutta (Pu533): Rilievo e prime osservazioni sulle iscrizioni murali.

The cave of Santa Maria della Rutta opens in the Cretaceous limestones of the Serre Salentine. few kms from Acquarica del Capo (in the Lecce province). On its walls is keeps an extraordinary epigraphic heritage, the result of centuries of religious pilgrimages. In this work the authors, after several and painstaking surveys, present a detailed map of the cave and a first note on its very rich inventory of inscriptions, which up to now have been described only in short in the local historiography.
