Dalla fotogrammetria digitale ai Pdf 3D: considerazioni sulle potenzialità offerte dalle metodologie di rilievo speditivo basate sullo SfM

abstract:
During the fast survey of a sample of churches of the Carapelle Barony, within the L'Aquila territory, on some of them it has been pioneered the use of photographic survey, targeted to a three-dimensional representation by digital photogrammetry procedures. The experience here illustrated will propose an enrichment of the methodology already established for the fast survey of vulnerability and seismic damage by photogrammetric three-dimensional representation of the asset and its preservation state. Through this procedure, which returns the textured mesh of the study case, the interpretation of the researcher is reduced, thus increasing the chances of post-revising the interpretive model on remote. The methodological proposal supports the usual procedures of survey by laser scanning, and it's aimed at obtaining, through the processing of an appropriate set of digital images with a software based on Structure from Motion (SFM) algorithms, three-dimensional digital models. These models will serve to highlight the state of the asset and its historical evolution through an immediate display mode, suitable for all, like the Portable Document Format (PDF).
