Stable Ruthenium colloids by Laser Ablation

For the first time Ruthenium nanoparticles (NPs) were produced by pulsed laser ablation in liquids. The NPs were characterized and a correlation between their absorption spectra and their concentration was found. Possible applications of the nanoparticles were also explored.
