Clinical Phenotype and Genotype Correlations with Time to Progression into Post Polycythemia Vera and Post Essential Thrombocythemia Myelofibrosis
Abstract

abstract:
This study indicates that the longer the time from PV/ET to SMF, the larger the
spleen. CALR genotype is associated to a more slowly progressive
disease. Finally, chromosomal abnormalities are more associated
with the presence of blast cells than with time to progression and
this reinforces the concept that SMF is not related to PV/ET clonal
evolution
