Il sistema nazionale di certificazione dei biocarburanti e dei bioliquidi

2012 is the year of coming into force of sustainability criteria for biofuels and bioliquids, that have to be respected in order to access to incentives and in order to satisfy the targets foreseen by legislative decree 3 march 2011, n.28. The economic operators can demonstrate that raw materials, intermediate products and final products respect criteria in three ways: using a national certification system, a voluntary one recognized by the European Commission or using an agreement between a Country and the European Union. Italy implemented its own National System of Certification of biofuels and bioliquids with DM 23 January 2012. The system assures that economic operators respect sustainability criteria, establishing norms to regulate the accreditation of certification body, the inspective verifications operational mode and the content of batch accompanying documents.
