Attosecond pulse trains associated with the short and long quantum paths

abstract:
The temporal structure of XUV radiation produced by high-order harmonic generation is analyzed. The single-atom response is calculated by using a nonadiabatic stationary-phase method in order to distinguish the contribution of the different quantum paths associated with the harmonic emission.
