Quantum computing with superconducting quantum interference devices: a possible strategy

abstract:
We propose and analyze a promising scheme for the implementation of single qu-bits and for the coupling of many qu-bits in complex quantum gates, based on magnetic flux states in systems of SQUIDs (superconducting quantum interference devices).
