APPLICAZIONE DELL'INDICE HARMONICA AL RUMORE STRADALE URBANO

Some noise monitoring data taken in the city of Milan, mainly road traffic, collected before the "lockdown" and examined in a previous study, have been re-processed to determine the value of the HARMONICA index (HRM) on an hourly basis. This descriptor takes into account the energy of noise and the occurrence of sound events. The results are interesting in terms of the potential to classify roads using this index, that, due to its formulation, is easier to understand by the population.
