abstract:
We built a global archive of DInSAR co-seismic displacement maps based on Sentinel-1 (S1) data. The DInSAR measurements are generated through a tool that considers the main significant (Mw > 5.5) worldwide earthquakes since 2015. The tool is automatically triggered by the occurrence of an earthquake in the main public catalogues (USGS and INGV). The DInSAR processing is carried out via the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud-Computing (CC) environment, to benefit of high computing capacity. The tool is continuously running allowing the update of the archive once a new earthquake occurs. The generated DInSAR results consist of about 6500 Interferograms, LOS Displacement and Coherence maps that are made freely and openly available to the Solid Earth scientific community through the European Plate Observing System (EPOS) Research Infrastructure and the ESA Geohazards Exploitation Platform (GEP).
