Hydrogels as an Interface Between Bone and an Implant

abstract:
PHEMA hydrogel was investigated to be used as fixation system for internal bone ficxation, by investigating the force generated by the hydrogels during the swelling process. Mechanical properties demonstrated that it could be successful used in vivo.
