Viscoelastic properties modulation of a novel autocrosslinked hyaluronic acid polymer

abstract:
Autocrosslinked polysaccharide (ACP) polymer are inter-and intramolecular esters of hyaluronan (HA). Suspensions of ACPs in bidistillet water with different relative level of crosslinking and different concentration were obtained to study their viscoelastic properties. The stedy shear tests showed pseudoplastic behaviours of ACP while the viscoelastic properties were essently elastic.
