Synthesis and optical characterization of dypyrril-dicyano-benzene (DPDCB) for organic electroluminescent devices

abstract:
n this paper we report studies concerning the singlet excited state dynamics of 1,4-bis(pyrril-2yl)-2,5dicyanobenzene (DPDCB) both in solution and in solid state. Moreover we have examined the feasibility of obtaining new electroluminescent organic diodes based on materials characterized by the presence of donor-acceptor groups in the same molecule.
