Protein: protein interactions involved in the assembly of lignocellulolytic enzyme complexes in Ruminococcus flavefaciens
Abstract
Publication Date:
2004
abstract:
Three linked genes involved in the organisation of cell surface proteins are located within a 10-kb chromosomal region in Ruminococcus flavefaciens 17. The gene products ScaAm B and C carry, respectively, three, seven and one cohesin type modules that have been shown to interact specifically with other R. flavefaciens proteins. ScaA cohesins interact with dockerins from a group of proteins that includes the enzymes EndA, EndB, XynB and XynD and the stuctural protein ScaC.
