The hydrogeological structure and the circulation pattern of groundwater in the Rome area are conditioned by the structural arrangement, from the water exchange ratios between five different Units Hydrogeological and by the presence of two important perennial watercourses. The structural depressions and elevations, together with the different ones permeability that characterize some major hydrogeological complexes, determine the boundaries between large aquifers and stream lines groundwater present in them.
