Abstract:
We present the effect and interplay of chirps in a seeded Free-Electron Laser through recent results of experiments, sustained by numerical and analytical studies, performed on the FERMI facility generating coherent femtosecond pulses in the extreme-ultraviolet spectral region. © OSA 2014.
