HLA-DPB1, -DQA1, -DQB1 and -DRB1 alleles in a population from Central Italy

This population from Central Italy, consisted of Caucasian individuals. The individuals were drawn from an urban and rural environment. The sample size for DRB1 was 325, for DPB1 was 380, for DQA1 was 179 and DQB1 was 185. Sequence specific oligonucleotide probes or sequence based typing were the methods for DRB1, sequence specific primers for DQA1 and DQB1 and reverse dot blot for DPB1.
