abstract:
In a society which strives to move towards an ever-growing inclusion of all categories of people, one of the most relevant aspects to be considered is a correct design and implementation of the environments in which people live. Every location must be carefully examined, and a carefully-compiled definition of user characteristics must be prepared. The importance of introducing ICT into the design of kitchens, considered as a networked environment, is here considered and a systematic approach to the problem presented. The WHO ICF classification has been identified as the reference document, for its characteristics of classification of people and activities.
