Influence of strengthening components on industrial mixtureof porcelain stoneware tiles

A typical industrial formulation for porcelain stoneware tiles was modified by adding synthetic mullite, and mullite-precursors, such as kaolin and gibbsite in order to enhance the mechanical properties by increasing the mullite content.
