Il portto buono di Tharros

Since 1997, n the framework of the CNR "Cultural Heritage Project" activities , integrated researches on the localisation and morphology of the maritime installation of the phoenician-punic site of Tharros have been carried out by Bologna University, CNR Institute of Technologies Applied to the Cultural Heritages, CNR-Institute of the hydrogeological hazard protection. The present contribution, based on a methodological approach utilising remote sensing data implemented by bibliography and field surveys, throws light on some peculiar geomorphological aspects and new archaeological evidences and remains. In particular, a comparison has been made beween the environmental archaeological aspects here described and the historical sources.
