Riforma Renzi - Boschi e accentramento dei poteri. Il nuovo Titolo V

The contribution aims to offer an analysis of the revision of Title V of Part II of the Constitution and its possible consequences on the principle of autonomy (Art. 5 Const.). The approved amendments go in the direction of a reduction of the political nature of local government and of their Chamber in a functionalist direction. In case of confirmation by referendum the regions and the House that represents them will be a far less significant counterweight to state power and, in particular, the power of the Government. The principle of autonomy - as a structural element of the democratic-constitutional dimension of the Republic - would be greatly reduced, by changing the mode of being of the Republic.
